LOOKING ALWAYS WATCHING

ALL AUTHORITY IS GIVEN TO ME IN HEAVEN AND IN EARTH.  GO YE THEREFORE, AND TEACH ALL NATIONS, BAPTIZING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, AND OF THE SON, AND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, TEACHING THEM TO OBSERVE WHATSOEVER I HAVE COMMANDED YOU; AND LO ! I AM WITH YOU ALWAY, EVEN TO THE END OF THE AGE.  AMEN.  Matthew 28.18 - 20
In the book of Acts, Luke tells us "until the day when he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Spirit had given commandment to the apostles whom he had chosen, to whom also he showed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days and speaking of the things pertaining
to the kingdom of God: and being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which he said, you have heard
of me.
For John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days hence.  When they therefore were come together, they asked him, saying, Lord, will you at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?    And he said to them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father has put in his own power.    But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Spirit is come upon you, and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost parts of the earth.
And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up and a cloud received him out of their sight.
And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold two men stood by them, in white apparel:  Who said, You men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven?  This same Jesus, which is taken up from you shall so come in like manner as you have seen Him go into heaven.
                                     Acts 1. 2 - 11

In the book of Revelation, Jesus told John to write the words into a book, for us to read and remember what He said to do.
"And the Spirit and the Bride say Come and let him that hears, say Come.   And let him that is thirsty, Come.   And Whosoever will, let him take of the water of life freely.  ....Surely I come quickly.  Amen.  Even so come, Lord Jesus."    Rev. 22.17, and 22.20.
And as it is appointed to men once to die, but after this the judgment, so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.   Hebrews 9.27
Those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ have the privilege of looking for Jesus to return, to come and take us home.
Paul's prayer in I Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 23 is this:

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
                         I
Looking for Jesus to come, we know that we are to continue living for Him, and looking to Him for our strength and help.   Paul wrote to Timothy that "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith; henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day; and not to me only, but to all them also that love his appearing.

THIS SAME BABY THAT CAME TO BE BORN IN A MANGER IN BETHLEHEM WILL COME AGAIN EVEN
AS HE PROMISED.

are you ready ?

I am.
My aim
is to glorify
God in my life
by abiding in Christ
walking in the Spirit,
knowing my Father in Heaven
is watching over me
while I go about living,
loving others.
I will look
for Him to come soon.
